Karen L. Bovard

KAREN L. BOVARD earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh, and subsequently earned a Juris Doctor from the Washington College of Law at the American University in Washington, D.C. She previously served as Counsel to the United States Senate Ethics Committee and as the Director of Enrollment and Discipline for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has also served as an adjunct professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where she taught Business Law. Karen is currently active in the Mahoning County Bar Association’s Taxation/Estate Planning Committee and as a seminar speaker.

Nils P. Johnson Jr.

NILS P. JOHNSON, JR. graduated with honors from Dartmouth College and in 1976 graduated from Boston University Law School. Nils has served as a local Bar Association Trustee, as a member of the Ohio Supreme Court’s Board of Grievances and Discipline, and as a member of the Ohio Supreme Court’s Board of Bar Examiners. He practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, business law, oil and gas, and real estate, and is a frequent lecturer on estate planning and legal ethics. He has been certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Specialist in the field of Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law.

Eric C. Johnson

ERIC C. JOHNSON attended Ohio State University, earning a degree in economics and then graduated from the University of Cincinnati Law School in 1983. Eric is a member of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Mahoning County Bar Association, having chaired or served on numerous committees over the years. Eric is past President of the Mahoning County Bar Foundation and has served on the Ohio Supreme Court’s Board of Grievances and Discipline.
